Argentine musical duo born from the creative work between the composer Fede Pascarella (FP), and the singer and grade teacher Fer Falbo (FF). 

 

The name of the band is the union of two of FP's passions, his beloved black color and that of performing extravagant dance steps influenced by the liberating effect of spirits on his party nights.

 

Musically, Noir Dancer could easily be located in Post-Punk England, a musical period to which the band's first LP makes constant reference.  

 

His influences come from bands like Jesus & The Mary Chain, The Clash, The Cure, Joy Division, New Order, Phoenix, David Bowie and many more, even flirting with classical music. 

 

Although their formation as a band is quite unusual, since FP occupies the position of the guitar, the programming of the synthesizers, the bass and FF as the lead singer, the duo bets on collaborations with fellow musicians at all times, having gone through the production of their first LP, drummers Nico Rendon and Fabro Rampulla and Leandro Qualizza on acoustic guitar. 

 

FP, a career composer, graduated from the Guildhall School of Music & Drama, a conservatory located in London, United Kingdom, where he lived for almost 10 years, returned to settle in Argentina in 2010. The meeting with FF occurred in 2012 when together with other work colleagues, at a school in Buenos Aires, they decided to form a band. Since then, musicians such as Marcial Costoya, Damian Denuncio, Mariano Rodrigues, Cesar Rizzardi, Andres Mirande and Octavio Colombo have passed through the project. The project had thousands of twists and turns until it found its way in the midst of the Covid pandemic under this format of a duo plus guests, to begin with the recording and final production of the 13 songs from their first LP. 

 

The songs on his first LP were written in London, in 2008, with some exceptions such as the single Miro tus Ojos, the only song on the LP in Spanish, which was written in 2018, 10 years later (thanks Andres!). 

 

This peculiar characteristic of the songs gave rise to the name of the album, since these "old" songs, having been left in the pool of oblivion, were once again rescued and brought back to life to be heard by a new generation.

Dúo musical argentino que nace del trabajo creativo entre el compositor Fede Pascarella (FP), y el cantante y maestro de grado Fer Falbo (FF). 

 

El nombre de la banda es la union de dos pasiones de FP, su amado color negro y la de realizar pasos de baile extravagantes influenciado por el efecto liberador de sustancias espirituosas en sus noches de fiesta.

 

Musicalmente Noir Dancer se podría ubicar tranquilamente en la Inglaterra Post-Punk, periodo musical al que el primer LP de la banda hace constante referencia.  

 

Sus influencias provienen de bandas como Jesus & The Mary Chain, The Clash, The Cure, Joy Division, New Order, Phoenix, David Bowie y muchísimas más, coqueteando incluso con la música clásica. 

 

Si bien su formación como banda es bastante inhabitual, ya que FP ocupa el puesto de la guitarra, la programación de los sintetizadores, el bajo y FF ocupando el puesto de cantante principal, el dúo apuesta a colaboraciones con músicos amigos en todo momento, habiendo pasado por la producción de su primer LP, el baterista Nico Rendon, Fabro Rampulla y Leandro Qualizza en guitarra acustica. 

 

FP, compositor de carrera, egresado de la Guildhall School of Music & Drama, conservatorio ubicado en Londres, Reino Unido, lugar donde vivió por un lapso de casi 10 años, vuelve a radicarse en  Argentina en el año 2010. El encuentro con FF ocurrió en el año 2012  cuando junto con otros colegas de trabajo, en un colegio de Buenos Aires, decidieron formar una banda. Desde aquel entonces han pasado por el proyecto, músicos como Marcial Costoya, Damian Denuncio, Mariano Rodrigues, Cesar Rizzardi, Andres Mirande y Octavio Colombo. El proyecto tuvo miles de idas y vueltas hasta que encontró su rumbo en plena pandemia bajo este formato de dúo más invitados, para empezar con la grabación y producción final de los 13 temas de su primer LP. 

 

Las canciones de su primer LP fueron escritas en Londres, en el año 2008, con alguna excepción como el single Miro tus Ojos, único tema del LP en castellano, que fue escrito en el año 2018, 10 años después (gracias Andres!). 

 

Esta característica no menor de las canciones dio origen al nombre del disco, ya que estas “viejas” canciones habiendo quedado en el limbo del olvido, fueron nuevamente rescatadas y vueltas a la vida para ser escuchadas por una nueva generación. 

 

El resto es música.
